Today’s Devotional: Decisions
Have you ever been faced with tough decisions? What do I wear? Should I quit? We all are faced with daily decisions. When making decisions we should consider seeking wise council. Sometimes the advice from wise council can help us make decisions that we would later regret if we made alone. Lastly, make decisions with your future in mind. Don’t make a decision today that you will regret tomorrow! Will you make a decision today to follow Christ?
Joshua 24:15 Choose this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
Prayer: Dear God please help me to make godly decisions. As I decide about things that can impact my future, please help me to make decisions with you in mind. May I not forgot how you have always guided me and kept me. Amen.
In life we will often face obstacles as we strive to get to a destination. However, we can rest assure knowing that God has given us the strength that we need to overcome them. Each hurdle you face makes you stronger and grows your faith! As you face the next obstacle in your life, stop and know that it serves a purpose. Remind yourself today, that you are strong enough to overcome the obstacles of life.
James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything
God, please help me to recognize the path that you have given me the strength that I need to overcome life’s obstacles. Remind me that I am not operating in my own strength, but in yours! Amen!
Lord show me the way
Sometimes in life we will face uncertainty about our direction in life. We may experience different situations that lead us to a complete stop in which we may not no which way to turn. It is in those moments when God can get our undivided attention. In those moments we can learn to trust God, hear His voice, and follow His direction for our lives.
Psalms 25:4 Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow.
God, please help me to recognize the path that you have for my life. There will be times when I’m faced with life’s roadblocks. It is in those moments where you can get my attention. Lord I will trust your direction for my life. Amen
Little things matter
Sometimes, our focus on the things that we may not have, or the situations that are not going well, may cause us to forget about the little things that are going well in our daily lives. It is important to take a moment, stop and be grateful for the little moments. In God’s word, He says that if we have little faith, we can do great things. If we are grateful for the little things in life, I believe that God will smile upon that and be more willing to bless us with more!

God, today please help me to be grateful for the little things in life. Lord teach me to enjoy little moments of time and cherish the little blessings. Lord, I will not despise little beginnings, nor will I dismiss my little faith. Lastly, God I understand that if I work my faith and stay grateful during the beginning, you can bless me with so much more! Amen.
Monday's Devotional When God calls us to leave a particular person, place, or thing, we may not understand how or why. It is in these moments of uncertainty that we must trust God. Even though we are doubtful of the plan and timing, it is important for us to remind ourselves that when He calls us, it will all workout.
Genesis12:1-4 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.2 “I will make you into a great nation,and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.3 I will bless those who bless you,4 So Abram went, as the Lord had told him
God, today please help me to trust you and go. Lord please remind that you are in ultimate control and that you have already worked out the plans for my life. Lord, as I go may I trust you completely as you lead and guide me to your prepared places. Amen.
